He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmanuel Clonch and Henrietta Clonch (Huffner). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Robert E. Clonch Jr., Roger Clonch, Randy Clonch (Donna), Steve Clonch (Karen), Susan Guenther (Mark) and Sharon Lindsey (Tim); and his siblings, Jim Clonch (Carol) and Jenny Baron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.
