She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Mitchell and June Mitchell (Cundiff); and her husband James F. Carter. She is survived by: her children, James Carter (Lisa) of Zanesville, Susan McCullough of Williamsburg and Sandra Jeffers (Dan) of New Richmond, Ohio; her grandchildren, Daniel Jeffers, Jr. of Bethel, Christina Jeffers of New Richmond, Vashti Sawtelle of Michigan, James Davis of Newark, Kyle McCullough of Mt. Orab and Ross McCullough of West Union, Ohio; and her siblings, Delores Hopper of Texas, Marceda Smith (Bruce) of Batavia, Phillip Mitchell (Maggie) of Batavia and Jack Mitchell (Judy) of Mt. Orab, Ohio.. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
