He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Rea and Lula Rea (Fetters); and his daughter-in-law Heidi Rea. He is survived by: his wife Dixie L. Rea (Walker); his son Michael David Rea (Lana Lewis) of Deer Park, Ohio; his granddaughters, Kari Rea (Mike) of Batavia and Tina Rea (Ryan) of West Chester, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Layla, Hana, Sophia, Stiles, Forrest and Kylie; Phyllis Jean Hamilton of Bloomington, Indiana..
Visitation was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cahall Funeral Home (101 Liming Farm Rd, Mt Orab, OH 45154). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at the Williamsburg Cemetery (824 Gay St, Williamsburg, OH 45176).
