He was predeceased by : his parents, William Francis and June Barger Aspenwall; and his brothers, William, Rex and Michael.

He is survived by : his wife Kathryn DeBlasis Aspenwall; his children, James (Amy) and Johanna Caplan (Brad); his grandchildren, Grant, Austin Aspenwall, Laurel and Sam Caplan; and his brother John Aspenwall (Ledra).

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church or Mt. Pleasant Historical Society, both in Jefferson County, Ohio.
