With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Benjamin T. Sanders of Mount Vernon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2026 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Terrell C. Sanders (Jack), Edrell Sanders and Hazel M. Christenbury; his uncle Kenneth Christenbury; and his father-in-law Hodie McLean.

He is survived by: his parents, William Terrell Sanders and Suzanne Christenbury Sanders; his wife Heather Lyn McLean Sanders; his children, Krista Sanders Myatt, Lauren Sanders Rutledge (David), Madison Brokaw VanFossen (Max), McKenna Brokaw and Nicholas Sanders; his grandchildren, Belarmina, Sophia, Gabriella and Nikko Myatt; his sister Holly Fuller (Ted); his nephew Caleb Fuller; his niece Leah Fuller; his mother-in-law Mary McLean; his aunt Nelda Woolverton; his cousin Jack Woolverton (Katie); his uncle Tim Sanders (Pattie); his cousins, April Sarter and Adam Christenbury; his friends, Jo Lee Carrier and Ken Wells (Heather); Brittany, Chelsea Czech, Emaleigh Shaller, Logan, Maya, Jessica Martin (Keith), Adry Ellwood, Eleanor Martin, Anabelle Martin, Matthew Sanders (Alexz), LaRue Sanders, Jacob Sanders (Rebecca Hoffman), Camden Carrier, Maecie Carrier, Ashley Parks (William), Cayden, Mason, Mike Schmidt (Marci), Cada, Kyle, Wyatt Schmidt, Richard Cooper (Jena), Noah, Jonah Cooper and Ben.
