She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Tablett and Ellen Tablett; her husband Oscar Hunt; and her daughters, Patricia Kershner and Connie Harris.

She is survived by : her son-in-law William Kershner (Gail); her siblings, Harold Tablett (Liz), Edward Tablett (Louise), Doris Hyatt (Pete) and Linda Johnson; her grandchildren, Kurtis Kershner (Kalvari) and Kyle Kershner (Jennifer); and her great grandchildren, Annabelle Kershner, Andrew Kershner, Austin Kershner, Eliana Kershner and Nadia Kershner. She is also survived by her family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Flowers Snyder Funeral Home (619 E High St, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Cornerstone Community Church of Fredericktown or Country Club Rehabilitation Center in honor of Creta M. Hunt's memory.
