We announce the death of Creta O'Dell of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 71. Creta will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Flora Beach (Rine); her former husband Roger Dean O'Dell; her daughter Melissa O'Dell; her parent Cecil Beach; and her siblings, Ralph Beach, John Beach and Pam Avery.

She is survived by: her son Douglas O'Dell (Jamie); her fiancé Ricky Knuckles; and her siblings, Spencer Beach, Jim Beach and Sue Ervin. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
