We bid farewell to David Robert Gawelek of Mount Vernon, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 15, 2025 at the age of 74. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter P. Gawelek and Marjorie G. Gawelek (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Judith Gawelek; his children, David Gawelek, Ross Gawelek and Allison Mylander; and his stepdaughters, Therese Schumacher, Sarah Schumacher, Valerie Schumacher and Emily Schumacher. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
