He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Shaw; and his brother Robert Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Shaw (Cupples); his daughters, Tami Parker (Larry) and Melisa Lance (Chad); his grandchildren, Keilee Parker, Cierra Blacksten (Chase), Tyler Parker, Grant Parker (Maria Fiore) and David Bennett (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Kyndale Parker, Nolyn Roberts, Maverick Blacksten, Kennedy Blacksten and Samuel Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Duane's name may be made to Kindred Hospice.
