She was predeceased by: her husband William Parnell; her parents, Emory Wright and Ethel Wright; her sisters, Evelyn Gantt, Emogene Bumpus and Elaine Walker; and her nephew Robert Bumpus (Tim Gantt).
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Jenifer Curran (Joe), Jessica Dexter, Deborah Wyle (Gerald), Thomas Bumpus (Karen), Allen Dexter (Melissa), Stephen Dexter (Bev), John Bumpus (Martha), Tom Parnell (Mary Kay) and John Parnell (Carol).
