With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick Richard Heffelfinger of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on May 31, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Heffelfinger and Grace Heffelfinger (Welsh); his siblings, Kathryn Durbin, Thelma Peugh, Treva Talbott, Margene Stockdale, Donald and Paul Heffelfinger; and his daughter-in-law Liza Marie Heffelfinger.
He is survived by: his wife Frances (Wise); his children, Gary Heffelfinger of Mount Vernon, Gina Bertiaux (Terry) of Blacklick and Lisa Awwiller (Steve) of Fredericktown; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Newton (Jason Mauer), Jacob Newton (Morgan), Grace Rings (John), Ashley Awwiller and Delenn Heffelfinger; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Penelope and Murphy; his sister Patricia Rine (Dick) of Howard; and his sister-in-law Linda Heffelfinger of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
