He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hughes and Mary Hughes (Putnam); his brother Steve; and his uncle Gordon Harrison. He is survived by: his sons, Kyle (Val), Keith Hughes of Danville and Matthew Hughes (Angie) of Lancaster; his foster son Kevin Durbin of Danville; his siblings, Charlotte Gardner (Joe) of Georgia, Ann Mizer (Art) of Mount Vernon and Don Harrison (Marilyn) of Youngstown; his stepson Rich Hiles (Janet) of Kansas City; his sister-in-law Colleen Brokaw of Mount Vernon; and also Lee Cubie. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren, and six step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
