He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Reffitt and Ora Reffitt; his wife Betty; and his siblings, Mabel, Russell, John, Charles, James and Oakley.

He is survived by: his children, Dan Reffitt (Maribel), Dave Reffitt (Lisa) and Tamara Cunningham (Marc). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
