It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Tomes in Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Tomes; his parents, Edgar Tomes and Daphne Tomes; and his brother Newman Tomes. He is survived by: his son Glen Tomes (Mary); his grandchildren, Derek Tomes (Angela), Darren Tomes (Crystal), Cassie Millburn (John) and Andrew Hawkins; and his brothers, Truman Tomes and Sherman Tomes. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home - Lasater Chapel (11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Chapel Cemetery.
