She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Elwin "Brownie" Smith and Alice Banks Smith (Sprouse); and her sister Billie Dean Horn. She is survived by: her husband Richard Thomas "Tom" Salmon; her daughters, JoAnna Chandra "Anna" Kauffman (Ross Michael) and Cara Danette Risser; her grandchildren, Grace Annabel Risser, Benjamin Joseph Risser, Nora Ruth Kauffman, Mathian Daniel Risser, Micah Ryan Kauffman, Netta Jean Kauffman and Luke David Risser; her siblings, Lawrence Elwin "Larry" Smith, Jr. and Maude Alison "Alison" Lynch; her sister-in-law Pamela "Pam" McCoy; and her brother Tom.
