We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2023, at the age of 92, Joan Clipse of Mount Vernon, Ohio, born in Newark, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy E. Daubenspeck and Grace Marie Daubenspeck (Steffen); her husband Edgar "Clippy" Clipse; and her daughter Deborah Miller. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sam Miller (Carol) of Mount Vernon, Matt Miller (Jennifer) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Erica Nicole Miller, Ryan Robert Miller and Kyle Andrew Miller; and her siblings, Gary Daubenspeck (Betty) of Mount Vernon, Larry Daubenspeck (Kathryn) of Mount Vernon, Jane Davis (Dick) of Fredericktown and Beth Staats (Ben) of Mount Vernon.

Memorial contributions in Joan's name may be made to the Knox County and Mount Vernon Community Trust to be added to the Edgar and Joan Clipse Family Trust.
