He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Johnson and Rosella Johnson (Corwin); his wife Susan Johnson (Householder); and his siblings, Patricia, James and Guy.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly White (Eric), Amy Johnson, Eric Johnson and Adam Johnson; and his siblings, Connie Hodge and Ted Johnson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
