It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. Shotts Jr. of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Shotts Sr. and Gladys Irene Shotts (Ralston); and his sisters, Sharyn Fowler (William) and Linda Bebout (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Shotts (Deeds); his children, Stacy Walden (Brian) of Mount Vernon, OH and John "Ryan" Andrew Shotts of Mount Vernon, OH; his cousin Carol Weaver (Steven) of Wentzville, MO; his nephews, Robert "Rob" Fowler (Amber) of Mount Vernon, OH and Robert "Linn" Bebout (Robyn) of Mount Vernon, OH; and his niece Angela Webb (William) of Centerburg, OH. He is also survived by 2 great nieces, 2 great nephews and 2 great-great nieces.
