He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Katherine Phillips III (Bell); and his wife Marsha Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Phillips (Nicole Grubaugh) of Mount Vernon, OH, Michael Phillips (Corbin Christensen) of Atlanta, GA and Stephen Phillips (Brande) of Carroll, OH; his grandchildren, Ariel Godley (Michael), Treveon Phillips, McKenna Phillips and Ava Phillips; his great grandchildren, Rone Godley, Wrenn Godley and Rumor Godley; and his siblings, Linda Jonsson of Piqua, OH, Matt Phillips (Kim) of Lady Lake, FL and Stacy Coons (Jack) of Mount Vernon, OH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
