She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Williams and Olive Williams of Lansdale; her husband Paul Merki; and her children, Stephen Merki and Ruth Elizabeth.

She is survived by: her children, David Merki (Annette) of Mount Vernon, JoAnne Hancock (Tim) of Lakeland and Debbie Merki of Newark; her daughter-in-law Diane Merki (Stephen); her great grandchild Mary Ellen; and her sister Ruth Wimmer of Telford, Pennsylvania.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great grandsons.
