The memory of Mary E. Gibson of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on August 20, 2025 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Sapp and Minnie Sapp (White); her siblings, Henry White, Larry Lithcomb, Sarah Gibson and Betty Gibson; and her nephew Walter Gibson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alvin Sapp (Christina), James Gibson (Kathy), Joseph Gibson and Alexandria Sapp. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home (201 Newark Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Green Lawn Cemetery - Columbus (1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223).
