We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2025, at the age of 96, Mary Margaret Walters (Mount Vernon, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Alexander and Edith Alexander (Reed); her husband Robert C. Walters; her son Tommy Walters; and her siblings, Kenneth Alexander, Emily Veatch and Nancy Walters.
She is survived by: her daughter Sally; her son-in-law Tom Near of Hilliard; her granddaughters, Caitlin Near of Hilliard and Erin VanHouten (Cory) of Columbus; her great grandchildren, Nora and Ava VanHouten; and her sisters, Martha Walters of New Castle and Claire Barber of Newark. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
