It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Max W. Goheen of Mount Vernon, Ohio, born in Coalton, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Waulk and Mildred Waulk (Powell); and his siblings, James Waulk, Elizabeth Goheen and Wanda Humphreys.

He is survived by : his wife Connie Goheen (Henry); and his children, Mark Goheen (Ella), Barry Goheen, Kathi Goheen, Tarrah West (Brian) and Farrah Shoemaker (Jay). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
