He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonner Phillips and Jane Phillips (Kirby); and his sister Datha Reed. He is survived by: his wife Judy Phillips (Claggett); his sons, Shawn Phillips (Lyn) of Conesville and Barry Phillips (Katie) of Mt. Gilead; his grandchildren, Zachariah, Nicholas, Levi, Amelia, Evelyn, Landon, Carter, Brodie and Brianna; and his siblings, Nathan Phillips, Xantha Collins (Gary) of Lancaster and Phyllis Doyle (Steve) of Danville. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
