He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Houbler and Ida Houbler (Loveridge); his former wife Kay Klein Houbler; his sister Leatrice Houbler Kerin; his cousins, John, Denning, Lonnie Loveridge and Mary Ann Stull; and his niece Barbara Parnell Tier.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Houbler; his nieces, Penny Klein Smith (Michael) of Groveport and Pamela Klein Hawkins (Jim) of Texas; his cousin Phil (Brenda Barga); his niece Dr. Janet Klein Stetson of Massachusetts; his great grandchildren, Ricky and Natalie Nelson of Ocala Florida; Richard and Deana Nelson.
