He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Zaika and Gertrude Zaika (Barks); his wife Vonda Zaika; his son-in-law Andre Pina; his grandson Korey Zaika; his son Mark Wittmer; and his brother Joe Zaika.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Zaika, Sherry Hannan (Gary), Soni Coey (Jim), Cindy King (Jerry), David Wittmer (Donna) and Julie Wittmer; his sister Juanita Heed (Bob); his sister-in-law Sandy Kovatch; and his close friend Justice. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
