It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis M. Shultz of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Gordon; her sisters, Ruth J. Barnes and Barbara E. Stout; her brothers-in-law, Floyd Barnes and Frank A. Stout; her nephew Daniel G. Barnes; and her great-nephew Joseph A. Mentzer.
She is survived by: her nieces, Pamela Mentzer (Jake), Nicole Laymon (Gerald) and Deborah Rubenstein (Nathan); and her nephew Gary B. Stout.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice in Phyllis's memory.
