We announce the death of Rodney Ewers of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 62. Rodney will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Ewers; and his granddaughter Hazel Riley. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Ewers (Thompson); his father James Ewers of Fredericktown; his stepchildren, Kayla Riley (James Grennell) of Mount Vernon, Amber Pilotti of Mount Vernon and Joseph Pilotti of Columbus; his grandchildren, Griffin Riley, Avery Kuehner, Laini Kuehner (Matt Shepherd), Kelcy Fowler (Kody), Morgan Pilotti and Riley Pilotti; and his sisters, Kassie Lester (Brian) of Fredericktown and Dulcie Ricketts (Rick) of Pickerington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
