It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samantha Marie Hedrick of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her fiancé Ben Young IV. She is survived by: her parents, Joseph Hedrick (Vicki) and Kellie Hedrick (Cleaves); her children, Jayden Spence, Nora Baker, Mavis Baker and Aiden Goines; her siblings, Megan Hedrick and Tyler Hedrick (Esmeralda); and her stepsiblings, Maria Hairston, Aaron Hairston (Holly) and Desmond McCord.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home (201 Newark Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
