He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kirkpatrick and Wilma Kirkpatrick (Stonecipher); his siblings, Dr. John Kirkpatrick and Karen Hunter; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Heffelfinger, Judy Devlin, Mike Heffelfinger and Fred Heffelfinger.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Kirkpatrick; his son Marcus Kirkpatrick (Heather); his granddaughter Helena Kirkpatrick; and his brothers, Mike Kirkpatrick (Jeannie) and Jerry Kirkpatrick (Debbi).

Contributions in Scott's memory may be made to the Loudonville Fire Department or the Ashland County Humane Society at the funeral home.
