We announce the death of Shirley Goscinski of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 71. Shirley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Shirley will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Shirley will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Shirley’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband David; her brother Edward Joseph; her aunt Elizabeth Morris; and her uncles, Charlie and Buster.
She is survived by: her children, Dustin Goscinski (Andrea) of Greensburg, PA and Danniel Khalil (Michael) of Fredericktown, OH; her grandchildren, Veronica Reyes of Columbus, Rene Reyes of Fredericktown, OH, Maeleigh, McKennlie and Maddix Goscinski of Greensburg, PA; and her sister Janet Hunt (Jack) of Coshocton, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Coshocton Village INN & Suites (115 N Water St, Coshocton, OH 43812).
