He was predeceased by: his father Carl Williams; his son Stephen Williams; his granddaughter Kelly Jo Williams; his great grandchild Megan Mosher; his stepmother Molly Williams; and his stepbrother Bob Mizer.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Williams (Lowe); his children, Bruce Williams (Donna), Sherry Ernest (Eddie), Shelly Talbott (Bob) and Susan Morningstar (Larry); his granddaughter Malinda Levings; his stepsiblings, Bill Mizer (Arlene), Nancy Pursel (Carl), Linda Winegardner, Carol Enderby and Pam Morris (Dan); and his aunt Lillian Strahm. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
