With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen B. Joris of Mount Vernon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Joris and Claudia Joris (McNeil). He is survived by: his children, Amy Yashnyk (Gregory) of Mount Vernon, Alyssa Joris (Herb Hines) of Sunbury and Rene Joris (Brooke) of Gambier; his grandchildren, Marissa Diamond, Nickolas Yashnyk, Alexandria Joris-Young, Erik Green, Ellie Joris, Harper Joris, Leo Joris and Nayomi Davidson; his sister Jane Chapin (Don) of Wilmington; and his close friends, Debbie and Henry. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
