He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Wilks and Anna Wilks (Smith); and his sister Kathleen Monyak. He is survived by: his wife Winnis Wilks (Repella); his children, Anastasia Shumake (Michael) and Jeremy Wilks (Jenny); his grandchildren, Avery and Darcy Wilks; his brother Michael Wilks (Pam); his niece Melissa Monyak; and his nephews, Hunter, Payton Wilks and Bryan Monyak.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lasater Chapel (11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (303 E High St, Mt Vernon, OH 43050).
