He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Stewart and Elma "Meta" Stewart (Green); and his siblings, Helen Wilkes, Pat Fahrer and Delores Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Stewart (Bridgette) of Groveport and Lisa Sloan (Andy) of Pataskala; his grandchildren, Thomas Stewart, Stephanie Stewart (Mark Kollar), Ryan Stewart (Paige), Jacob Sloan (Caroline) and Kenny Sloan; his great grandchildren, Ryan and Mason Stewart; and his stepchildren, Saunja Treen-Smith, Dale Treen (Rhonda) and Bryan Treen (Daleen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gompf Funeral Service - Crestline Chapel (223 W Main St, Crestline, OH 44827). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (331 N Thoman St, Crestline, OH 44827). The military honors will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the West Rushville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
