He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spiegel and Minnie Spiegel (Ewell); his wife Joan Hope Spiegel (West); and his siblings, Edward Spiegel and Martha Palello (Spiegel).
He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Myser (Jeremy) of Mount Vernon; his grandsons, Henry and Jack; and his sister Patricia Wilson (Spiegel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Dowds Chapel (201 Newark Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (200 Block of East High St., Mount Vernon, OH 43050).
