She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sheldon and Dorothy Sheldon (Zickafoose); and her brothers, Charles Sheldon, Junior Sheldon and Ronnie Sheldon.
She is survived by: her husband Ora Newland; her sons, David Newland (Teresa) of Mount Victory, Michael Newland of Mount Victory and Thomas Newland (Pamela) of Kenton; and her grandchildren, Shane Newland, Aaron Newland (Jill), Carrie Newland, Dustin Newland, Brody Newland (Kate), Kaitlyn Harshfield (Justin) and Gregory Newland (Allison). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Phyllys' honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
