He was predeceased by: his parents, August Miller and Emma Miller (Bruns); his wife Margaret Kryder (Sickmiller); his sister Laura Baden (Don); his stepchildren, Ted Kryder, Mary Kryder and Pat Williams (Peter); and his in-laws, Berl Greene, Elmer Riefers and Carol Kryder.
He is survived by: his sister Ruth Knierim; his stepchildren, Jane Greene, Linda Riefers and Charles Kryder; his stepgrandchildren, Mike Wachtmann (Kathy), Dan Wachtman (Deb), Jeff Wachtman (Jonel), Lori Wachtman, Susan Benson (Jeff), Robert Riefers (Karen), Kathyrn Gobrogge (Ed), Thomas Riefers (Sherry), Teresa Kryder, Kristina Kryder, Karen Kryder and Tiffany Kryder; and his stepdaughter-in-law Laura Kryder. He is also survived by many step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
