Bonnie Sasaki Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Sasaki of Napoleon, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dana Townsend and Thelma Townsend (West); her husband Larry Sasaki; her brother-in-law Richard Lilly; and her son-in-law Tom Dearing.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laralyn Sasaki Dearing of Columbus, Laryce McMurray (Sam) of Sylvania and Larann Soffner (Glenn) of Modesto, California.; her sister Diana Lilly of Warren; her nephew David Andrew Lilly of Detroit, Michigan; her sister-in-law Susan Uliveto (John) of Findlay; and her nieces, Jodi Ferguson of Youngstown, Heidi Grimsley (Karl) of Midlothian and Virginia.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (K980 Co Rd 17, Napoleon, OH 43545). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Florida Cemetery.
