We bid farewell to Carol E. Gerken (Napoleon, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 3, 2026 at the age of 91. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Helberg and Mildred Helberg (Schroeder); her husband Norman; and her brother Malcom "Sonny" Helberg. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Thompson (Cliff), Brenda Jones (Gary), Gregg Gerken (Amy Bohaty), Tamara Smith, Joel Gerken (Sue), Janel Witte (Dan) and Matthew Gerken; her brother Dean Helberg (Barb); her sister-in-law Rosie Helberg; and her close friends, Marilyn and Irene. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
