He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Davis and Virginia Davis (Fausey); his siblings, Tommy, Glen, Jim, Chuck Davis and JoAnn Sloan; and his stepson-in-law Barney Potter.

He is survived by: his wife Sadie Mae Girlie; his children, Margaret Golden and Dale Jr. Davis (Marge); his stepchildren, Frank Philpot (Becky) and Glenda Potter; and his brother Don Davis (Sue). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Elara Caring Hospice or a Charity of your choice.
