With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald Barkley of Napoleon, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Donald departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donald. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wardell Barkley and Marie Barkley (Gainer); his sister Betty Umpenhour; and his brother-in-law Charlie Umpenhour. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Smith; and his daughters, Valerie Lynn Carpenter and Heather Joy Coyle (Timothy). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
