She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Geswein and Helen Geswein (Madden); her husband Paul Markins; and her brothers, Robert Geswein and Richard Geswein (Dolores Hanichen).
She is survived by: her son Shawn Markins (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Kyle Markins (Leanne), Chris Young (Rachel), Andrew Young, Kari Blandy (Joe) and Kreg Markins (Maravene). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed towards St. Augustine Catholic Church or Henry County Humane Society.
