We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2023 we had to say goodbye to George Anthony Thornton of Napoleon, Ohio, born in Savannah, Georgia. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of George Anthony Thornton to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, David Thornton and Betty Thornton (Carter); his wife Linda Lou Thornton; his sister Cindy Thornton; and his son Brian Patrick Thornton.

He is survived by : his daughters, Christina Rice (Charles), Janice Jenkins (Eric), Sally Chandler (Michael), Nicole Thornton (Mandy), Candy Tucker (Andrew) and Brandy McClory (Will Gray); his brother Richard Thornton; and his friends, Jim Saman, Stan and Tenna Duval. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
