He is survived by: his wife Elaine Wells (Sonnenberg); his children, George Wells III and Elizabeth Thompson (Ryan); his grandchildren, Florence, Scarlett, George IV, Brooks Leo Wells, Madison, Max and Gregor Thompson; and his sisters, Diane Elling and Donna Rosebrock (Randy).
