It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Johnston of Napoleon, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Johnston and Pearle Johnston (Brakeman); and his siblings, Robert Johnston (Eleanor), Patricia Cline (Robert), Lewis Johnston (Marjory) and Marianne Cody.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy; his children, Wendy Greutman (Jeff) and Timothy Johnston (Karen); his grandson Zachary Greutman (Ruthi); and his brother-in-law Clayton Cody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
