She was predeceased by : her parents, John F. Gerken and Ruth Gerken (Kline); her stepmother Ada Gerken; her son Jeffrey Holers; and her siblings, Howard Gerken (Peggy), Kenneth Gerken (Alice), Marlene Patterson (Russell) and Jane Schmeckpeper (Bob).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon.
