With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John F. McBride of Napoleon, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on March 23, 2026 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard McBride and Gladys McBride (Griesinger). He is survived by: his children, Judy Russell, Vicki Lantzy (Steven) and Jeffrey McBride; his wife Luetta Wachtmann; and his sister Midge Goldsmith (Richard). He is also survived by children, John is survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials in John's memory may be considered to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
