He is survived by: his children, Angie Buchanan (Knapp), Joe Knapp (Ana), Jacob Thayer and Jessica Thayer Jewell (Randy); his siblings, Ann Thayer and Tim Thayer (Laurie); his niece Lisa Thayer; his grandchildren, Aalissia Kelley (Sean), Alex Knapp, Joey Robinson, Jayce Robinson, Ella Knapp, James Jewell and Judah Jewell; and his pets, Lucy, Penny and Apollo.
