He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Carpenter and Addie Carpenter (Holenbrink); his daughters, Mary Ann Georgieff, Tracy Franks and Laura Cooper; and his siblings, Patricia Reibesel, Jim Carpenter, Danny Carpenter, Judy Kistner and Helen Meeker.
He is survived by: his wife Toni Carpenter (Brinkman); his sons, Thomas Carpenter (Lynn) and Matthew Sisk (Tina); his stepchildren, Tina Fitzwater (Eric) and Ronald Bradford (Melinda); and his brothers, Jesse Carpenter (Sue) and Charles Carpenter (Paulette). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
